BWC Analytics usage guide
Create an account
Select Account|Sign Up
Enter Email Address, Password, and Confirm Password
Confirmation email will be sent to complete registration
Enter Email address and password
Enter Job Name
New jobs will automatically open in the Master Sync mode. If in Playback mode, Master Sync can be selected by View|Master Sync
Repeat actions below for each video in job
Enter/Edit Video Start Time (usually displayed on video start frame)
Enter Camera ID (usually displayed on video start frame)
Select “Switch to Playback”
Click on Job
From left to right: 4x reverse, 2x reverse, slow reverse, Play/Pause, Stop, Slow Forward, 2x Forward, 4x forward
The center of the Playback Control Bar shows the date and time of the current video playback. By default, date and time are displayed in UTC (Universal Coordinated Time). Clicking on this area will toggle between UTC and Local date/time.
This control is on the right portion of the Playback Control Bar. Clicking on this control will alternately toggle between showing, and not showing, the individual video timeline progress bars.
This Filter control is on the right portion of the Playback Control Bar. To use, click on color coordinated timeline for 2 or more videos, then click the Filter icon. Playback will then be restricted to those videos.
Click on the icon to revert to all videos.
This Zoom control is on the far right portion of the Playback Control Bar. It controls the number of videos (1, 2, 3, 4) across that are displayed.
Individual video controls
Turn individual video sound on/off
Display video in full screen
Add annotation (note) to selected video at current point in playback.
Annotation grid controls
Click on specific line resets playback to 7 seconds before timestamp
Icons on right of each row allow edit/delete of annotations
Playback usage summary
The Playback screen is organized to provide the most efficient analysis control. Playback Timeline Progress Bars are grouped by camera and color coordinated to the video border. Annotations are indicated on Playback Timeline Progress Bars by a vertical yellow bar. Videos can be dragged to a new playback position (playback must be paused).
